I'm nearly Vince's age, but I haven't made any games. Just played a few, usually obsessively but off and on. Most of the ones I come back to time and time again qualify as "crpg" on some level, vague or otherwise. The ones I have the most trouble finishing are the ones with lots of Character Creation options, so the fact that my first playthrough of AoD was start-to-finish in less than a week is somewhat miraculous. Don't worry, though - I built a couple dozen more characters and won't be finishing with a single one of them any time soon.
