Definition[edit | edit source]

A "Tutor" effect describes when the player is enabled to look for a specific card into his deck and either put it in his Action Bar or directly in play. The name Tutor comes from Magic The Gathering's "Demonic Tutor" card, which famously implemented this mechanism.

Duelyst has very few tutors by design, as their power can quickly lead to unbalanced combos. The available cards have narrow applications to limit their overall impact on game balance.

Finally, Q'orrhlma'a does not provide a tutor effect per se, but can drastically eliminate a complete part of your deck, leaving only specific cards to draw from.
