- Gold can be used to purchase spirit orbs and gauntlet tickets.
- Gold can be obtained by completing quests.
- Gold is also awarded for a player's first win each day, for every three wins (up to a point), at the end of a monthly ladder season, and at the end of a gauntlet run.
