In the beginning Autarch's Gift was a great card because the pool of artifacts it drew from was pretty small and therefore easier to get what you wanted. With the latest expansions new Vetruvian artifacts got introduced and diluted the card pool for Autarch's Gift. Because of that this card doesn't see that much play anymore. It can still be a potential game winning card though with the right amount of luck.
