|Ability||You may replace an additional card each turn.|
Description[edit | edit source]
You may replace an additional card each turn.
Notes[edit | edit source]
This effect stacks; having two Aethermasters on the board, for instance, will allow you to replace three times a turn.
Strategies[edit | edit source]
The uniqueness of Aethermaster has encouraged players to build Replace-themed decks. It is there where Aethermaster sees play. Placed in the backlines, Aethermaster can trigger Replace effects multiple times. For example, an Inquisitor Kron in play with an Aethermaster will summon two Prisoners instead of the usual one. Along with Replace decks, Aethermaster is played in Arcanyst decks as a tribal 2-drop with some utility. Outside of these decks Aethermaster is not played except in desperate combo decks. Stronger statted 2-drops with more useful effects are played in its place.
Gauntlet Strategies[edit | edit source]
Aethermaster is little used in Gauntlet because it is incredibly difficult to draft adequate synergy for a replace deck.
